A teleprompter is a video monitor that displays text. Our company Moviemedia has been using teleprompters as part of the shooting process for more than 10 years now. It has certainly been a boon to the CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’s and other senior executives who had to look straight into the camera and deliver their message.
We started with a professional camera mount prompter which is mounted in front of the camera with a beam-splitter glass in front of the lens. This reflects the text and allows the speaker to address the camera, which in this case represents the audience, head on. It helps them speak ‘naturally and effortlessly’ without fumbling or eyes darting around searching for cue cards held away from the lens axis (which looks less than appealing, to say the least!).
The greatest advantage of using a teleprompter is that the speaker can concentrate on delivering the message without the anxiety or stress associated with remembering lines. We all know how vital it is to be seen as a confident in-command speaker to evoke respect and the desired responses.
Moviemedia’s professional camera crew and experienced teleprompter operators are always happy to shoot multiple takes till all are satisfied. We ensure that what has been said has been delivered the right way with the right emotions and intonations.
Moviemedia is always keen to innovate and adapt to new trends and technology. From camera prompters we started getting requests for podium prompters also known as speech prompters or stage prompters. Now they are also called Presidential Prompters after President Obama was seen to use it on a regular basis. Today the very same technology is available in UAE not only to those who need to look into a camera and deliver lines but also to all who need to step up to a podium and deliver their speech without the anxiety of having to remember lines and points.
Both of the prompters have easy to use dynamic software which accepts different languages. And what’s more, we can load the text and immediately edit it on location while it’s on the system. The advanced software offers great flexibility in speed adjustments, font sizing, starting, stopping reversing etc. This has enabled the executives to alter their messages to get the right meaning for their presentations during the shoot itself.

We always get requests not only from our direct clients but also from other production companies, events companies, PR companies, etc for hire of either the camera mount prompters or podium prompters. We work to exceed our clients’ expectations and deliver on time. Contact us today for your prompting needs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We can also travel to other countries if need be.
